Mr. Trautmann is currently representing clients both in the prosecution and defense of estate matters. Actions have been brought to challenge as well as defend the validity of a Last Will and Testament, the actions of an Executor or Trustee in handling the affairs of the estate or trust or for an accounting of assets under control of the estate or trust fiduciary. Typically Will actions involve allegations of undue influence and/or lack of capacity and are always fact sensitive. Mr. Trautmann was formally counsel to the Surrogate first appointed by the Governor and later elected to his office and as such was responsible for all estate litigation handled in that office.
