Mr. Trautmann is engaged in an extensive litigation practice in both Federal and State Courts. His clients have come from nearly all of the States in the United States as well as overseas. Mr. Trautmann regularly represents clients in complex commercial litigation, personal injury, and malpractice matters. He also represents clients in FDIC litigation, estate litigation and aviation related matters. Over the years Mr. Trautmann has establish himself as one of the top litigators in the country earning a reputation as a thoroughly prepared and tough adversary.
In addition, Mr. Trautmann also counsels several clients in general corporate matters. Presently he is counsel to Axis Financial Corporation, Axis Specialty Assurance, Ltd., Consumer Assistance Services Association, Cronite Company, Inc. and Direct Medical Network Solutions. In addition to providing advice on general corporate matters, Mr. Trautmann also sits on the Board Of Directors of several corporations.
Professional Background
Mr. Trautmann has also been admitted pro hac vice in various jurisdictions including most recently in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the States of Florida and Texas. Presently Mr. Trautmann is the lead counsel handling multi-million dollar commercial litigation matters in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida – Tampa Division as well as in the 153rd Judicial District of Texas, Tarrant County, the Court of Appeals for the Second District of Texas – Fort Worth, and the Texas Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Trautmann currently represents clients from Germany, Ireland, Hong Kong, India and Mexico.

Despite the long hours he devotes to his clients, there is much more to Gregg Trautmann than just practicing law. He is also a certified flight instructor with instrument and multi-engine endorsements. He first soloed at age 19 and has been flying ever since. Hardly a week goes by when he is not at the airport. In addition he is an avid sportsmen having most recently taken a 6x6 Elk in Montana while hunting with a client.
Gregg is married to Donna Ward and is the father of three children.
